We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lorna Mae Earl, known
affectionately to many as Lonnie or Mama. Born in Ogden, UT, on January 21, 1947, Lorna is the daughter of Boyd Sr.
and Afton Pat Hoskins. Lorna spent her 77 years nurturing relationships and living her life to the fullest. She was
a loving, smart, and humble soul who had a heart as vast and compassionate as the Utah sky.
Lorna was a supportive presence throughout her life, not only to her family but
also to anyone she met. Lorna worked many jobs during her life, retiring from the Internal Revenue Service in
2009. Lorna found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved being outdoors, playing with her
animals, playing pool back in the day, and her trips to Wendover. Above all, Lorna cherished her family, her
grandkids, and her dogs. She touched the hearts of everyone she met, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that
will forever be remembered.
Lorna was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Sr., her mother, Afton Hoskins,
siblings Gary, Gene, Carol and Linda, son Robert J. Lynch, her daughter Wendy Michelle Lynch, and her husband,
Clifford Earl. She is survived by her kids, Jodi Harwood (Matt), Jeremy Loving (Jessica), Adam Loving (Sheral).
She is also survived by her three loving granddaughters, Sirese, Emily and Abigayle, and many
grand-dogs.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers
Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. 84404, with a viewing prior from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
