5/2015: I married a Weber High graduate - Craig Tatton - put him through school to a Masters degree,
divorced him after 20 years. No children but I always considered my sister, Melanie, (9 years younger) my
daughter. Craig was into souped up old cars so we traveled around the western states in his 1940 Willys
truck. I worked for the Feds in personnel at the Defense Depot Ogden, the National Guard and Farmers Home
Administration for 14 years. I attended University of Utah and have a BS in Journalism and an MSW in Social
Work. I've lived in Utah, Oregon, LA, North of San Francisco and now Las Vegas. I worked for Holy Cross
Hospital on their Physical Medicine and Rehab unit; at NeuroCare as a Case Manager - getting treatment
authorized and for Managed Health Network, a Health Net subsidiary, authorizing psych and substance abuse
treatment initially. I then became the Clinical/Admin expert on our computer system and helped design, test
and document our system so that authorizations resulted in claims being paid for the members to the
providers. I was bi-lingual - could speak to the non-tech staff and the tech staff about what we needed. I
retired on disability in 2004 due to debilitating head pain which has now resolved. My family brings me my
greatest joy. I enjoy reading and quilting. I was out of the LDS church for a long time and now am very
active which has been really good for me.
