Comments: After graduating from OHS I entered WSU in Ogden, Utah. I met former
classmate Scott Russell at a joint fraternity/sorority dance while in college. We dated all through our college
years. We married in 1970 in the Logan LDS temple. My college degree was in elementary education with a minor
in library science and child development. I taught elementary school for 6 years before I decided
to stay home and be a full time mom. Later I became an assistant librarian, and have worked in the Weber county
library system for over 19 years. Scott and I have 2 great kids and 5 grandkids. Being
a grandmother is GREAT and brings much happiness into our lives. Life still has it challenges, but we continue
to follow its path ; with hope of doing more traveling as we enter the retirement years. Life is fun and I
enjoy it very much.
