Hersel Richardson, Jr.

May 29, 1946 — December 9, 2022

Hersel Richardson, Jr., 76, of Colonial Beach, VA passed away on December 9, 2022, in Washington DC. Formerly of Ogden, Utah, Hersel or Bear as most knew him, was an outdoorsman and spent most of his free time in the Utah and Montana mountains doing what he loved most – hunting and fishing. Hersel retired from Utah Transit Authority after working many years as a bus driver. Hersel was preceded in death by his wife, Luana Richardson, and parents, Hersel & Hortensia Richardson, his brother William Richardson, and sister Monica Richardson. Survivors include his brother, Lawrence Richardson of Portland, OR; sister, Hortensia Richardson of Ogden, UT; his stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. His wishes were to be cremated and Storke Funeral Home, Colonial Beach is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.storkefuneralhome.com
