
Connie J. Taylor

November 6, 1946 — February 1, 2025
On February 1, Connie returned to her heavenly home for a grand
reunion with those who have preceeded her. Connie was diagnosed with ovarian cancer shortly after
Christmas.
On November 6, 1946 she was born to Raymond E. and Norma London
Taylor. Connie attended Ogden City schools, Lorin Far Central Jr and graduated from Ogden High in
1965.
She was raised on 21st and was part of the swarm of kids attending
the original Ogden 20th ward and remained close with many of them.
Early on she worked in the ticket booth at the Egyptian Theater,
not liking the Utah winters Connie moved in 1972 to Memphis TN while working and retiring from the IRS. She always
and was intrigued by the street in downtown Memphis named November sixth Street in 2007. Connie moved to
Collierville, TN.
Connie returned home every Christmas while her parents were a live
and she acquired her parents cabin at Bear lake and would be there several times each summer to be with extended
family and friends.
Connie’s wishes were to be cremated with her ashes to be placed
next to her mother and dad.
Connie was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents and
older sister Karan.
She is survived by brother Terry (Lettie) of Roy, Scott (Marilyn)
of East Carbon, Utah. Her very special friend of 50 years JoAnn Cobb of Collierville, TN, brother-in-law Noel Rees
Parowan, Utah, many nieces and nephews and her cat of 14 years Miss Kitty.
The family thinks the caregivers at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice
House in Collierville for the wonderful care and comfort they provided for Connie.
A private service for the family and friends will be held later at
the Ogden city cemetery.
