Douglas Berghout Terry returned home to his Heavenly Father, Tuesday, October 16, 2007.
Douglas was born October 9, 1947 to Frank Nebeker and Gertrude Angeline Berghout Terry. Douglas graduated
from Ogden High School in 1965. He loved music and played the clarinet in the Weber State College Marching
Band. Douglas was a veteran, having served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to
1968. Douglas served an LDS mission in Florida from 1969-1971.
Douglas is survived by his father Frank N. Terry; his two brothers: Richard F. and O. Ira (Karin) Terry;
two nieces: Crystal (Derek) Anderson, Melissa (Robb) Dibbell; and two nephews: Brent and Nathan
Terry.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2007 at Washington Heights Cemetery,
4500 Washington Blvd. in South Ogden. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday October 18,
2007 and one hour prior to the services at the Leavitt’s Mortuary 836 36th Street in
Ogden.
